Welcome
GOLF4GENS (Golf for Generations) is a European initiative transforming grassroots golf into a hub for sustainability, innovation, and community development. Through the GOLFBRIDGE model, we help clubs and schools co-create practical solutions for circular economy, biodiversity, and digital learning.
GOLF4GENS builds a trans-European, cross-sectoral network connecting golf clubs, educators, environmental experts, researchers, schools, and local communities. Together, we design, pilot, and scale a future-oriented sustainability model that improves environmental performance, develops green skills, and boosts participation—aligned with EU sports and sustainability priorities.
We develop, pilot, evaluate, and share a set of tools, trainings, and learning experiences designed for real-world use in clubs and schools.
Grassroots golf clubs:
Practical sustainability actions, reduced impact, stronger community ties, and modern learning tools for staff and members.
Coaches & managers:
Training, resources, and ready-to-run activities that integrate sustainability into everyday club life.
Youth & schools:
Green skills, STEM-based learning, and engaging gamified experiences that connect sport with real-world challenges.
Local communities & NGOs:
Inclusive NbS and CE initiatives that bring sport, education, and environmental stewardship together.
The project is structured into five work packages, ensuring strong coordination, high-quality delivery, and Europe-wide dissemination.
Management, coordination, monitoring & evaluation
Design of the GOLFBRIDGE model and digital tools
Pilot delivery with clubs, coaches, youth and communities
Skills validation, hackathon and Eco Golf Design Lab
Communication, dissemination and sustainability roadmap
GOLF4GENS is powered by a cross-sector partnership connecting sport, education, research, and environmental expertise across Europe.
Whether you are a golf club, school, coach, researcher, or community organisation—GOLF4GENS invites you to collaborate, share practices, and build a positive legacy for future generations.
